“Wrench jockey” is a somewhat insulting term sometimes used to describe a trade worker. These days, the terminology is not only unkind but off the mark.
The technology being installed in today’s homes is requiring a different type of technician. Not only do they need the technical skills, but they also must understand the complex devices that contribute to energy efficiency, home security, and comfort.
