Explore The Trades attended the National HVACR Education Conference hosted by ESCO Group in Las Vegas, NV from March 25-26, 2024. This conference brought together over 1,100 HVACR educators, manufacturers, and industry professionals from all over the country.
Explore The Trades’ team members Toni Bower and Maddy Sorenson attended and connected with numerous HVAC educators and industry vendors about the importance of bridging the information gap to the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical trades in K-12 environments.
Along with the tradeshow, Explore The Trades was able to attend conference sessions and learn more about the future of the HVAC industry. Explore The Trades had the privilege of learning from HVAC educators about training and coaching best practices for developing tradespeople. It was a valuable takeaway to learn that those starting in the industry require the balance of technical training and hands-on coaching. A career in the skilled trades is constantly evolving, and educators in the skilled trades are rising to meet these challenges to develop their workforce.
