ETT Attends American School Counselors Association Conference

Explore The Trades was able to attend the American School Counselors Association Conference in Las Vegas, NV from July 11-14, 2021. This conference brought over 2,700 counseling professionals from all over the country and included an exhibit hall where Explore The Trades (ETT) was a participant. Executive Director Kate Cinnamo, and ETT Trustee Lara Beltz attended the booth and had great conversations about the importance of the plumbing, HVAC and electrical trades with hundreds of counselors from around the nation!

Conference attendees were particularly interested to talk with board member Lara Beltz, owner of Beltz Home Service Co. of Findlay, OH, as she could provide perspective as a business owner in the industry along with advocating for the work of ETT.

Through these great connections with both Lara and Kate, 137 different counselors requested more information for their schools! Explore The Trades is looking forward to interacting with these schools throughout the year and growing more connections in the education industry next year at the ASCA conference in Austin, TX!
