Greetings, Hunting Enthusiasts!
Thank you for sharing your interest in joining Explore The Trades for another hunting fundraiser hosted by Jack Tester. We’re pleased to share this event with you and appreciate your support of the organization’s mission – to bridge the technical talent gap to the service trades of plumbing, heating, cooling, and electric.

Event Dates
Hunt 1: November 9-13
- Hunting takes place November 10-12
Hunt 2: November 13-17
- Hunting takes place November 14-16
*Please note that your invoice states the hunting dates for which you’re registered.
Location
Northern Plains Outfitters – 16429 Front St, Athol, SD 57424
Registration Fee
$3,350 for pheasant hunting (includes $1,000 donation to Explore The
Trades).
$1,500 for deer hunting.
*Registration fee will not be refunded for cancellations made within 14 days of the first day of the event.
The all-inclusive registration fee includes:
- Lodging and meals
- *Capacity is limited to 25 individuals. The
registration deadline is October 19, 2026, or until
capacity is reached. A waiting list will be started after capacity is reached
Youth Registration
A special discounted rate is available for children 16 and younger.
$2,100 (includes $1,000 donation to Explore The
Trades)
Sponsorship Opportunities
There are three $6,000 sponsorships available and include the following:
- Two guest registrations for the event
- Company logo on the Explore The Trades website & newsletters
- Exclusive social media posts pre- and post-event
- Company logo on special event gift
- Opportunity to share your company promotional items with event guests

A Few Notes
- Please note a three-day charter fishing license may be purchased on-site for $20.
- Fishing guides will provide lunch, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages for days on the water.
- Gratuities are given at the guest’s discretion for fishing guides and house staff.
- Don’t forget your sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and raingear!

If you’re flying into MSP International Airport, please plan on an approximate five-hour drive to the outfitter.
